Nordson Industrial Coating Systems is seeking a Sr Purchasing Agent to strengthen manufacturing operations by developing supplier partnerships and managing procurement processes. You will act as the local representative for Supply Chain and liaise with regional programs to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of quality materials.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Manage supplier performance related to quality, delivery, cost, and service levels.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to meet business needs and customer expectations.
• Create, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements including contracts and supplier-managed inventory.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and identify savings opportunities.
• Support supplier consolidation, sourcing, and material planning strategies to improve efficiency and supply continuity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Product Development to resolve supplier or purchased-product issues.
• Support engineering change orders, new product development, and cross-functional sourcing projects.
• Lead or support procurement-related projects and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
