Job summary

Blaze Equipment in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Purchasing and Planning Manager to own end-to-end procurement and inventory planning for drill rig components, tooling, and consumables. You’ll drive POs, maintain stock targets, and participate in SIOP with the Director of Purchasing & SIOP.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in purchasing/planning, strong ERP and Excel skills, and proven supplier management. Based in Fort Worth with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in purchasing, materials, or supply chain.
• 3+ years owning a planning or replenishment function.
• Experience with heavy equipment or capital machinery preferred.
• Working knowledge of import practice and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage POs with vendors for drill rig components and engineered assemblies.
• Maintain min/max levels and safety stock by SKU based on consumption.
• Lead SIOP input and 12–18 month demand planning by product line.
• Monitor spend, lead times, and supplier performance; drive corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on refurbish-vs-replace decisions.
