Qualifications

• Prior experience in estimating, engineering, or as a buyer for heavy civil construction projects is preferred.
• Must be able to read engineering documentation and construction plans.
• Understanding of construction contracts and terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate complete estimate packages for subcontractors and material vendors.
• Solicit material and subcontract pricing per project needs.
• Analyze and normalize quotes and enter pricing into estimating software.
