Job summary

LuckyGunner.com in Knoxville, TN is seeking a purchasing and supply chain professional to join our small, motivated team. You will support purchasing, capital allocation, supply chain management, and operations with an ownership mentality.

You will identify new purchasing opportunities, optimize inventory movement, and strengthen supplier relationships across the country, with travel as needed. The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and a drive to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or MBA.
• 3+ years of post-collegiate professional experience.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs/Sheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience with Google Search and general web navigation.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing inventory – evaluating impact on inventory breadth, turnover, risk, profitability and cash flow.
• Actively seeking purchasing opportunities from suppliers.
• Managing pricing for thousands of items to maximize value.
• Mapping logistics and purchasing processes for scalable operations.
• Interacting with suppliers by phone, email, and in person to maximize value.
• Traveling to meet suppliers around the country to strengthen relationships.
