The City of Calimesa is seeking an experienced public sector HR professional to serve as its HR & Risk Manager, a newly created position with the opportunity to develop and shape the City's human resources function.

You will oversee employee relations, recruitment, classification and compensation, benefits and leave administration, performance management, policy development, investigations and collective bargaining, while leading risk management, workers' compensation and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field; and five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources and risk management within a municipal or comparable public agency setting including experience in multiple functional areas of human resources.

Responsabilités

• Manage HR across employee and labor relations, recruitment, classification and compensation, benefits and leave administration, performance management, policy development, investigations and collective bargaining.
