Job summary

Ascendant Program Services, LLC seeks a Congressional & Public Affairs Analyst to support the U.S. Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) in Arlington, VA.

You will conduct substantive research, craft briefing materials, and assist with communications for congressional affairs and public outreach. The role requires strong writing and formatting skills, experience in government relations or public policy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Background in Public Affairs, Government Relations, Communications, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations or related fields is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with social media, graphic design, and/or website production apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive research and analytical support for USTDA’s Office of Congressional and Public Affairs.
• Draft briefing materials, memos, and content for public dissemination.
• Support outreach activities and communications for congressional affairs.
