Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of professional experience in communications, public information, journalism, public relations, marketing, or closely related field
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s degree with major study in English, communications, public information, journalism, public relations, advertising, marketing, or a closely related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public affairs strategies that support agency goals
• Lead media relations and crisis communications planning and execution
• Direct and coach the Public Affairs team to meet performance standards
• Collaborate with agency leadership to inform communications policy and outreach
• Provide guidance on messaging, audience engagement, and brand management
• Ensure effective internal and external communications across platforms
