Job summary

Entergy Corporation is seeking a Manager, Public Affairs to shape legislative and policy agendas for Entergy. This role delivers community relations messages and works with government and regulatory bodies to create favorable operating conditions across the OpCo service territories.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in government or legislative roles, a BA in Law or Business, and a strong network with policymakers. Union and relocation details vary; travel up to 25% may apply.

Qualifications

• BA Law or BS Business or equivalent work experience.
• Law degree strongly preferred for advanced policy work.
• Experience in government/legislature is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with legislators to promote policy positions and favorable legislation.
• Identify, monitor, and advocate for energy-related legislation.
• Maintain relationships with state and regulatory authorities to influence policy.
• Promote positive relations with third-party advocates to support strategies.
• Develop community relations and business development strategies; manage grants.
• Grow employee PAC and nurture relationships with officials.
