Job summary

VNS Health in New York is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Hospital & Ancillary Relations to serve as a key liaison between VNS Health Plans and provider partners.

You will manage a portfolio of complex relationships across hospitals, health systems, and ancillary services, coordinate across internal teams to resolve issues, and drive ongoing provider engagement and collaboration to strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare, business, public health, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in provider relations, account management, managed care, or related healthcare field.
• Strong understanding of managed care operations and provider servicing.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of hospital, health system, and ancillary provider relationships.
• Coordinate resolution of complex provider issues with multiple internal teams.
• Educate providers on plans policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation of provider interactions and performance data.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects impacting provider network.
