Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage enrollment and recredentialing for providers across multiple health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. You will maintain provider databases, communicate with plans and staff, and ensure timely submission of applications.

The role requires 1–3 years of enrollment experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and attention to detail to meet NCQA standards and ensure accurate data handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Provider Enrollment experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access) and other web-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates timely enrollment of new providers in health plans and existing providers in newly contracted plans.
• Compiles accurate health plan packets and reviews for accuracy before submission.
• Performs recredentialing every 2 years and tracks providers to completion.
• Inputs enrollment information into the provider database and maintains accuracy.
• Communicates with health plans, clinicians, BIDCO staff; develops reporting on enrollment status.
• Maintains relationships with provider practices and health plan contacts to resolve enrollment issues.
• Assists in processing applications for new BIDCO group entities and coordinating with hospitals.
• Facilitates delegated credentialing in coordination with Professional Staff Affairs offices.
