Job summary

Best Best & Krieger LLP is seeking a Pursuits and Proposals Specialist to join the Marketing team, leading assigned proposals from intake through submission and post‑submission follow‑up. The role requires sharp writing, editorial judgment, strategic thinking and exceptional internal client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience writing and managing RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, proposals or pitches in a legal or professional services environment.
• Law firm experience and proposal management or business development experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Foundation or another experience management/proposal platform; willingness to learn new tech quickly.
• Experience with Asana; project management and collaboration tools knowledge.
• Experience coaching attorneys for competitive interviews and presentations; PowerPoint design experience is a plus.
• Experience working with or supporting public agencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned pursuits through full proposal lifecycle from intake to submission and follow-up.
• Analyze solicitation requirements and manage compliance matrices and project schedules.
• Lead kickoff and strategy discussions with attorneys and stakeholders to align win themes and timing.
• Draft and edit tailored, persuasive content communicating BBK’s experience and differentiators.
• Prepare attorney interview teams with message development and presentation structure.
• Maintain proposal content, biographies, credentials and templates in Foundation.
• Coordinate production, proofreading, quality assurance and delivery logistics.
• Use Asana to coordinate schedules, track pursuits and support reporting.
