Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the Global Quality & Operations PMO. You will drive cost reduction projects, including sterilization optimization, capacity improvements, automation, and data initiatives.

The role requires 6+ years in project management or related fields, with preference for PMP certification and experience in medical devices or regulated manufacturing. Hybrid work flexibility is offered within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in project management, engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred.
• Experience leading cost reduction, manufacturing optimization, operational excellence, or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in medical device industry or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and manage project charters, scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, quality plans, stakeholder strategies, communication plans, and governance.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans with work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, major workstreams, and milestones.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, manage scope, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive decision-making.
• Identify and coordinate cross-functional resources and provide performance feedback to managers.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution to ensure delivery.
• Support procurement activities and collaborate with external partners and suppliers.
• Build stakeholder relationships and communicate status, decisions, risks, and changes to leadership.
