Job summary

King County Metro’s Transit Employee and Labor Relations team is seeking a Project Program Manager III to lead and coordinate complex, high impact programs that require cross departmental collaboration and standardized processes. You will track projects, facilitate large meetings, and manage information requests across multiple stakeholders to support consistent delivery.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience managing complex projects from concept through implementation or equivalent background.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced project management skills including planning, scheduling, risk management, implementation, and process improvement.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for cross-functional and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point person for assigned agency-wide projects and programs.
• Coordinate external agency requests (L&I, WSHRC, EEOC, unemployment, etc.).
• Lead and facilitate large-scale meetings with leaders at all levels.
• Develop standardized processes, dashboards, and reports to improve efficiency and compliance.
