Job summary

Krones Process Group North America, a global leader in turnkey hygienic process solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Specialist in Franklin, WI. This hands-on role covers technical components, equipment, subcontracted services, and site installations, coordinating with project teams and suppliers to drive cost, quality, and schedule success.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field or equivalent experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Multiple years in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain in industrial/project environments.
Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and supplier negotiations.
Ability to independently negotiate terms, pricing, and schedules.
Technical understanding of engineered equipment and installation work.
Experience coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Manage project-related procurement for technical components, equipment, subcontracted services, transportation, and installation/site services.
Identify, evaluate, select, manage, and develop suppliers/subcontractors based on capability, cost, quality, and delivery.
Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, supplier negotiations, and sourcing recommendations.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, warranty conditions, and change orders.
Place purchase orders and manage supplier/subcontractor agreements within approval framework.
Coordinate with project management, engineering, logistics, quality, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to align procurement with schedules and budgets.
Procure installation and field services at customer sites including mechanical installation and piping.
Manage project logistics including transportation, freight, and customs documentation.
Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery, safety, and documentation.
Identify procurement risks and mitigate cost deviations and schedule impacts.
Support change management, supplier issues, and project close-out.
