Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA in the United States seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the order management team, overseeing the full order lifecycle from entry to shipment and invoicing. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure on-time delivery and accurate processing.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in a related field and 7+ years in project management or order management; MBA and Lean Six Sigma or PMP are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, production planning, operations planning, or order management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing planning or customer order management teams.
• Strong ERP and MRP system knowledge.
• Experience with Power BI, or similar reporting tools preferred.
• Understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• PMP Certification

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management team and oversee the complete order lifecycle from order entry through shipment and invoicing.
• Ensure accurate processing, validation, and execution of customer orders.
• Monitor order backlog and proactively manage delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to establish realistic customer delivery dates.
• Resolve order-related issues, escalations, and customer concerns.
• Develop and maintain order prioritization processes aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and customer specifications.
