Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Project Manager to lead impactful initiatives in collaboration with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. You will own projects from planning through delivery and align goals with customers while developing solution concepts with subject matter experts.

Responsibilities include timely milestone delivery, coordinating teams and external providers, and maintaining KPI transparency. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this global role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (engineering, business administration, or comparable).
• Several years of professional experience in project management or related environment.
• Strong planning, coordination, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Planisware, MS Project, Polarion, SAP) and KPI reporting; documentation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities; proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of one or more projects from planning through delivery.
• Align goals and scope with customers and SMEs; develop solution concepts.
• Ensure milestones, gates, resources, and steps are delivered on time.
• Coordinate project team members and manage external providers and stakeholders.
• Maintain transparency through clear KPIs; involve stakeholders if targets are at risk.
• Drive lessons learned and support project reviews; ensure proper documentation.
