Job summary

Mercury Marine, based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is seeking a Project Manager to lead new product launches across the Parts & Accessories portfolio. You will guide cross-functional teams through the development process, ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget, and on scope.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in project or program management, strong data skills with Excel and Power BI, and a proven ability to influence without direct authority in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of project or program management experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority in a matrix organization.
• Experience managing programs through a formal phase-gate or structured product development process.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD programs end-to-end from concept through commercialization and launch.
• Own the program schedule, budgets, resource plans, and timelines.
• Develop forecasts and steward resources across the portfolio.
• Provide clear direction and accountability to core teams.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Service, and Quality leaders.
• Manage the phase-gate process (COMPASS) and prepare updates for reviews.
• Monitor progress and report on schedule, scope, cost, tooling, and risk.
• Govern programs with KPIs and executive visibility.
• Balance multiple programs and coordinate across teams.
