Job summary

Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Finance professional to partner with the Parts & Accessories unit, gather, analyze, and report data, and act as finance lead for multiple product lines and functions, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.

You will collaborate with category management, service operations and other teams, review monthly performance, explain variances, develop business cases for new products, and support ad hoc analyses and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
• Strong collaboration skills across business units.
• Solid problem-solving and multi-project management abilities.
• Experience in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual performance; explain variances.
• Coordinate annual budgets and monthly forecasts for units and cost centers.
• Provide finance partnership support for service, category management, and other departments.
• Deliver sales, margin, and pricing analysis for key units and product lines.
• Lead finance on new product development teams; prepare business cases and analyses.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and lead special projects.
