Qualifications

• Be reachable for appointment on the Project Manager 2 or Project Manager 3 eligible list.
• Or eligible for 52.6 transfer with one year of qualifying service in a title approved for transfer.
• PMI certification or formal project management training is preferred.
• Experience managing projects in the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) or New York State government is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and programs independently.
• Assist management with more complex projects and programs.
• Supervise and train Project Managers.
• Assist with developing performance plans for Project Managers.
• Conduct project management training for the agency.
