Job summary

VDA seeks a Project Manager in Illinois to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects within budget and on schedule. The role requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure objectives are met, manage scope, and document progress. Proficiency with Salesforce, M-Files, Sierra Live, and MS Office is preferred to keep projects up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Effectively manage project scope and ensure changes are properly documented and approved.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
