Job summary

TCH Medical Center in Houston seeks a Project Manager to coordinate broad department initiatives in a fast-paced setting. You will organize and manage the project plan, timelines, risks, and resources.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, present to technical and non-technical staff, and drive data reporting processes. A Bachelor's degree and 4 years in business, project, finance, or healthcare are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, business administration, biology or other business, healthcare, or science field required.
• 4 years of business, project, finance, or healthcare experience required.
• A master's degree in computer science, finance, business administration, biology or other business, healthcare or science field can be substituted for two (2) years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulates, administers and maintains the detailed Project Plan, including activities, tasks, risks, issues and resources; provides regular status reports.
• Ensures project documentation (agendas, minutes, project plans, presentations, etc.) is complete, timely, accurate, and in accordance with standards and policies.
• Facilitates communication with project team members and stakeholders, including presentations to technical and/or non-technical staff and leadership.
• Develops processes to ensure ongoing data management for reporting needs.
• Analyzes project impacts and dependencies across the Integrated Delivery System.
• Serves as representative on committees and taskforces.
• Manages conflicts within the project team and escalates to leadership when needed.
• Analyzes workflows and data to improve current practices and stakeholder needs.
• Conducts literature, benchmark and best practice searches.
• Undergoes respiratory fit testing as part of safety standards.
