Job summary

Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, organization, and execution of one or more program areas within the department. You will drive projects from requirements through deployment, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation while coordinating internal and external resources to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience managing complex projects or program development and administration.
• PMP or other project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain processes for full-scale project plans using appropriate tools and techniques, including managing the project lifecycle and risk assessment.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations following established rules, guidelines, and procedures.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, minutes, and plans.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, communicating progress and changes regularly.
• Lead cross-functional teams, set goals, delegate tasks, and foster collaboration for project success.
• Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance data across digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects.
• Assign and monitor resources to maximize efficiency and deliverables.
• Report outcomes and risks to management and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
