Job summary

Hunter Foundry is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager in Schaumburg, IL, on-site, to oversee projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across procurement, engineering, production, and finance, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing or industrial environments and a solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems and MS Office. PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, or industrial environments.
• Experience managing projects with large purchase orders or capital equipment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and budget management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving high-value purchase orders and capital expenditures.
• Review project requirements, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, production, finance, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, costs, and deliverables.
• Ensure purchase orders comply with company approval policies and budget requirements.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
