Job summary

First Western Trust in Denver, CO, seeks a Project Manager with business analyst responsibilities to lead cross‑functional initiatives from planning to delivery and to translate goals into actionable outcomes.

You will balance structured project oversight with analytical insight, manage stakeholder communications, and support UAT and post‑implementation reviews. A CAPM or Scrum Master certification is preferred, with collaboration across departments to drive impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management with business analysis responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in both waterfall and agile project environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; excellent communication.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Self‑starter with ability to work with limited oversight.
• CAPM or Scrum Master certification preferred (within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects aligned with goals and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans with milestones, resources and dependencies, mitigate risks.
• Coordinate communication across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate status meetings, provide leadership updates, maintain project docs.
• Gather and document business requirements through workshops and interviews.
• Translate requirements into actionable deliverables and support design.
• Support UAT, maintain traceability of requirements, and assist post‑implementation reviews.
