Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking Project Leaders/Principals for roles in Chicago, Detroit, or Minneapolis to lead client engagements in the Automotive & Mobility sector. You will manage studies, supervise data collection, and develop hypotheses with advanced financial analyses.

Qualifications

• Expertise in automotive industry including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and CVOH manufacturers.
• Experience in at least one of: large-scale transformations/cost optimization, digital/AI initiatives, or core automotive functions.
• 2-3+ years consulting with 1+ year in a team-lead role.
• Proven ability to present to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage studies to define client needs and supervise data collection.
• Develop hypotheses and perform advanced financial analysis on client data.
• Create actionable recommendations and supervise due diligence, product development, and change initiatives.
• Maintain client contact and high-level client relationships.
• Provide project management oversight including budgets and status reporting.
