Job summary

CPH is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Sanford, FL. This role acts as the lead financial partner for department VPs, PMs, and project managers, delivering insight, analysis, and foresight into project profitability and performance.

The PFA bridges finance and operations, forecasting cost-to-complete, identifying underperforming projects early, and supporting leadership with actionable financial intelligence to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 4–7 years in accounting or financial analysis.
• Experience with project-based ERP systems (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint) preferred.
• Experience in engineering, architecture, or construction finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial liaison to VPs and PMs, delivering insights on project performance.
• Develop ETC and EAC models for accurate forecasting.
• Produce KPI dashboards including budget burn, % complete, and margin trends.
• Monitor unbilled labor and EWAs to keep contract alignment.
• Collaborate with Billing and Project Coordinators to ensure timely invoicing.
