Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, seeks a Project Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Sanford, FL. You will partner with assigned VP(s) and PMs, providing analysis and recommendations on project performance and portfolio health.

Develop ETC/EAC models, deliver weekly KPI dashboards, monitor unbilled labor, and support EWAs to maintain contract alignment. Collaborate across Billing and Project Coordinators to ensure accurate revenue recognition and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query).
• Working knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint, Power BI, and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on building relationships and influencing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial liaison to VP(s), providing analysis and recommendations on project performance.
• Lead monthly project performance reviews with PMs and VPs, analyzing actuals vs. budgets, labor utilization, and forecast accuracy.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to improve project margins and resource efficiency.
• Develop and maintain ETC and EAC models for accurate forecasting.
• Deliver KPI dashboards including budget burn, % complete, margin trend, and backlog health.
