Job summary

DRMP is seeking a Project Financial Analyst in Orlando to partner with Project Managers and project teams. This role blends project accounting with forward-looking financial analysis to improve forecasting, revenue recognition, and margin management throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work to enhance ETС/EAC forecasts, support FP&A with dashboards, and translate financial data into actionable guidance for PMs and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years in project accounting or project controls.
• Experience with WIP, revenue recognition, billing, and AR.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PMs to develop ETC and EAC forecasts based on scope and risks.
• Facilitate project financial reviews and analyze budget burn and margin trends.
• Provide validated project data to FP&A and leadership with dashboards and training.
• Translate financial reports into actionable insights for leaders.
• Manage monthly revenue-recognition inputs and review costs for accuracy.
• Coordinate with PMs and project billers on invoice readiness and unbilled items.
• Identify staffing and risk factors affecting forecast performance.
• Set up projects in Deltek Vantagepoint with budgets and terms.
• Review contracts and amendments for financial terms and risks.
