Job summary

University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking a Project Director for the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) to oversee all administrative and support services. Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, educational administration, psychology, communications, social work or related field required.
• Minimum five years of directly-related experience serving first-generation/low-income pre-college or college-aged adults.
• Five years of experience in counseling low-income/first-generation/disabled students preferred.
• Experience managing multiple work teams within a large organization and coordinating staff activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative and support services to recruit and serve 850 EOC and TRIO eligible participants in Acadiana parishes.
• Assist the Trio Department Head and other directors in selecting, supervising, training and evaluating staff.
• Arrange partnerships with community agencies to identify and recruit eligible adults for EOC services.
• Attend off-campus and campus meetings related to EOC operations.
• Ensure timely submission of performance reports and deliver services within federal and university guidelines.
• Complete reports to reflect federal and university regulations, guidelines, and policies.
• Ensure smooth operation of the program and support participants in achieving post-secondary goals.
