Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Project Cost Controller to join our finance and project controls team in Charlotte, NC. You will focus on budgets, managing actuals against plans, and cost to come, delivering timely forecasts and reports.

You will create forecasts from sales handover, perform complex cost control tasks, analyze variances, and support proposal and claim packages. Strong MS Excel skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across departments are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience in project controls, finance and budgeting.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Create initial project forecast from Sales to Contract handover.
• Perform complex project estimating, change documentation and cost control.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast; reconcile budget vs actuals, analyze variances, risks, opportunities.
• Report forecast variances to portfolio level and manage cost changes.
• Collaborate with departments to develop budgets/forecasts and review performance.
