Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Cost Controls Analyst to deliver data-driven financial analysis and forecasting for multiple projects. The role is fully remote with travel to the site up to 25%, and includes cross-functional collaboration with project managers and field operations.

Responsibilities include building cost forecasts, maintaining controls over financial reporting, and synthesizing data into executive-ready narratives to guide decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project controls, FP&A, or data-driven roles.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Python, and/or SQL preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured modeling approach.
• Ability to communicate complex data to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project cost forecasts and monthly reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Forecast future project costs using historical data and key parameters.
• Assist with budget mapping and cost data collection.
• Analyze cost, schedule, and resource variance and identify drivers.
• Create executive-ready decks highlighting trends and recommendations.
• Communicate data-driven insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
