Job summary

Canadian Pacific Kansas City seeks a Specialist Project Controls to oversee budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting for Real Estate and Industrial Development. You will manage SAP/BPC data, support revenue plans, and provide timely financial analysis in a fast-paced railway environment.

Role requires 5+ years in financial planning or project controls, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Project Management is a strong asset.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in financial planning, accounting, project controls, or railway operations.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-management skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project, revenue, and agreement performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Identify, analyze, and report variances to targets and objectives.
• Support development of project budgets, schedules, and revenue plans.
• Maintain forecast and performance reporting; perform reconciliations monthly, quarterly, and annually.
