Job summary

E Tech Group in Plano, TX seeks a Project Controller to manage budgets, forecasts, and costs to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget project delivery. You will collaborate with project managers, customers, and vendors to maintain financial control for mission-critical initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in project engineering/services, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business or technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of related experience in a project engineering or services environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/project management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and actual costs.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate project planning and reporting.
• Interact with customers and vendor personnel to assure project progress to meet customer requirements.
• Track project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and associated costs.
• Prepare invoices, verify details for accuracy, and deliver to the customer.
• Review project estimates to verify accuracy and maintain data integrity.
• Identify and flag variances in project budgets and schedules.
• Support risk and opportunity analysis related to project financials.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and client contract terms.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to gather project cost data.
• Follow and coordinate established or informal standard operating procedures and guidelines for Mission Critical business team.
• Generate reports on project progress and analyze performance data to make recommendations.
