Job summary

The Ohio Adjutant General’s Department is seeking a Project Manager 1 (Project Controller PM) to manage and direct the development and implementation of technical projects within the Ohio National Guard program. Beightler Armory in Columbus serves as the primary work location.

Responsibilities include cost tracking in the state's PMS, reporting financial health to leadership, and ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs. exp. in project management and budgeting/cost projections.
• 2 yrs post-secondary education in business/public administration/CS/health or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and track all project costs in the state's PMS.
• Communicate financial health of projects to ADJ leadership.
• Measure performance against schedule and budget; analyze change orders.
• Review payment processing tasks through OAKS-CI; guide PMs on shortfalls.
• Track and log issues/risks; evaluate mitigation.
• Coordinate with OFCC and external agencies to improve PMS effectiveness.
• Forecast timelines and needs with DPM team; manage financial and schedule planning.
• Manage project reporting, communication, and closure.
