Job summary

DCS Corp. is seeking a Project Control Analyst to partner with Project Managers, Corporate Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable to ensure strong governance of budgets, revenue recognition, and project processes.

The PCA will support budgeting, cost reporting, invoicing tracking, and monthly project reporting in a collaborative environment, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for multiple projects across the department of defense and other national security customers.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Education/experience as listed: HS Diploma/GED with 16 years, Associate’s with 10 years, Bachelor’s with 8 years, or Master’s with 6 years.
Experience with FAR, CAS and GAAP, including revenue recognition concepts.
Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Strong PC skills with extensive Excel capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers on project setup, revenue recognition calculations, and review of unbilled accounts receivable balances.
Ensure proper cost allocation, budgeting, and tracking for billed and unbilled expenses.
Provide subcontractor management, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking.
Cost against project budgets to ensure proper cost allocation.
Prepare monthly financial and status reporting, including monthly project accruals, liaising between Accounting and Project Managers.
