Job summary

Rochester Fire Restoration is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, job costing, and WIP reporting. You will work closely with Sales, Mitigation, Reconstruction, Project Management, and Leadership to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in construction/restoration accounting preferred.
• Understanding of job costing and WIP reporting concepts.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable records.
• Generate customer invoices and apply payments for projects.
• Track job costs, budgets, and WIP reporting for project profitability.
• Reconcile accounts and support monthly and year-end closes.
