Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Set up project accounts in the accounting system to track financial transactions accurately.
• Keep detailed records of project documents, including contracts and change orders.
• Authorize transfer of expenses and review supplier invoices for projects.
• Review and approve time sheets and overhead charges related to projects.
• Report on project profitability and collaborate with receivables to collect billings.
• Prepare government reports and tax returns related to projects.
