Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, seeks a seasoned Program Manager to direct major naval programs from inception to completion at the Pascagoula facility. You will be responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance, negotiating contracts and coordinating with the customer to review progress.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and extensive progressive experience; a Master’s degree strengthens the candidacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience
• Master’s degree and 6 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion, overseeing cost, schedule and technical performance
• Participates in contract negotiations and changes; prepares proposals and budgets
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities and leads program review sessions
• Establishes milestones and allocates resources to meet master plans and schedules
