Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding is seeking a senior program leader to direct all phases of major programs, ensuring cost, schedule and technical performance. You will coordinate proposals, budgets and customer interactions, and lead teams across technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant discipline with extensive progressive experience (Masters with 6 years also noted). This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Mississippi, with no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience.
• Master's degree and 6 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies problems and solutions.
