Job summary

FIS is seeking a seasoned Vice President, Head of Program Management & Strategic Initiatives to lead the enterprise Technology PMO and drive multi-year modernization programs from Jacksonville, FL. This role partners with the CTO/CIO and senior leadership to design, govern, and deliver strategic initiatives across technology platforms.

The candidate will shape how Technology plans, prioritizes and executes large-scale programs, including cloud migrations, data/AI programs, and platform

Qualifications

• 15+ years in program management, technology delivery or transformation leadership; 5+ years leading large programs
• Enterprise-scale transformation programs experience in financial services or fintech environments
• Executive-level advisory experience with C-suite, boards, and senior stakeholders
• Proven delivery using Agile, SAFe, Lean or hybrid methodologies with portfolio management tooling

Responsibilities

• Partner with CTO/CIO and Tech Leadership to translate strategy into a program portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives including platform modernization, cloud migration and AI enablement.
• Evolve the Technology PMO operating model and governance with Agile, hybrid and waterfall approaches.
• Ensure programs deliver business outcomes with disciplined scope, schedule and budget management.
• Lead executive reviews and provide data-driven visibility to executives and the board.
• Build and mentor a globally distributed team of program directors and PMO professionals.
• Drive change management to realize adoption and value from major transformations.
• Collaborate with Finance on technology investments, budgets, and ROI tracking.
