Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Program Security Officer to lead and manage security programs for a sensitive government-related workload at a U.S. site.

You will oversee personnel, physical, operational, and information security requirements while coordinating with internal teams and government partners. The role emphasizes independent project management, rapid triage, and delivering high-quality security services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience acting in a Program Security Officer/CPSO/Security Manager capacity implementing personnel, industrial, and physical security requirements
• 2+ years experience with ICDs, NISPOM, and other government regulations related to classified programs
• 2+ years experience working with physical security hardware, IDS, and ACS
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive program security guidance covering personnel, physical, operational, information, industrial, CI, and computer security issues
• Create and manage government-accredited security requirements and day-to-day security operations
• Identify security requirements and solutions to sustain and enhance program execution
• Maintain and service security hardware/systems onsite to meet government/AWS requirements
• Build relationships with internal and external partners to raise security awareness
• Support on-call rotations for alarms, incidents, and outages
• Manage multiple projects as Program Security Officer
• Maintain facility accreditations
• Conduct security interviews and investigations with high judgment
