Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Staff Officer SME (Classification/Program Protection) in Arlington, VA, onsite, to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War. The role focuses on development of national policies, classification management, and program protection within a DoW framework.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in policy development/analysis and operational planning, plus an active TS/SCI clearance and staff experience at OSW/JCS or a military HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of policy development/analysis and operational planning work within the DoD/DoW.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Operational staff experience at OSW/JCS/military HQ.
• Experience drafting policy, memos and congressional responses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national and DoW strategies, policies, and training on classification management and program protection.
• Lead security reviews and provide recommendations on PPPs and classification guidance.
• Coordinate with R&E, A&S, CIO, DCSA, J28, and other stakeholders to align PP, SCRM, CI, and information security policies.
• Prepare action memos, congressional responses, manuals, and briefings for the Department.
