Job summary

The California Public Utilities Commission invites applications for the Program and Project Supervisor to lead complex broadband and infrastructure programs, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements in a hybrid work setting.

Under general direction, you will develop policies, monitor contracts, provide data-driven analysis to executive leadership, and coordinate across divisions and stakeholders to advance CPUC priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience administering complex broadband, telecommunications, or infrastructure deployment programs.
• Supervisory experience leading professional staff and managing performance.
• Experience managing programs subject to federal compliance requirements (e.g., grants, 2 CFR Part 200) and federal audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee complex programs and projects that support CPUC priorities.
• Supervise staff, manage operations, budgets, contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide policy recommendations, data‑driven analysis, and innovative solutions to executive leadership.
