Job summary

The California Public Utilities Commission seeks a Program and Project Supervisor in the Public Advocates Office to supervise the Procurement Cost Recovery Section and coordinate with other sections. This hybrid, permanent, full-time role directs analysis, policy development, and staff coordination across electricity planning and procurement policy.

Under the EPP Program Manager, the PPS supervises staff, reviews work products, and contributes to budgeting, contracts, and leadership discussions

Qualifications

• SOQ requirements include addressing three questions on supervision and leadership, goal setting and prioritization, and negotiations on complex policy and technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Procurement Cost Recovery Section staff and coordinate activities with other sections and divisions.
• Review staff work products for policy consistency and quality; prepare staff reports, briefs, testimony, and comments in CPUC proceedings.
• Assist in budget oversight, contract management, website content, and attendance at management meetings, workshops, and related forums.
