Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX seeks a proactive Senior Program Manager to lead execution of complex programs and oversee a commercial uncooled product portfolio aligned to customer, contractual, and business objectives.

The role requires a self-starter with strategic thinking, capable of cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Contracts, and the ability to mentor a team of Program Managers to ensure successful portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in program management, leading complex programs in technical environments.
• Self-starter with ownership mindset and ability to drive results in dynamic environments.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making balancing technical, business, financial and customer considerations.
• Experience solving complex problems across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex programs across a portfolio with oversight and direction.
• Manage portfolio performance aligned with customer requirements, contracts, and business goals.
• Serve as primary interface with customers and internal leadership on execution matters.
• Drive accountability and coordination across cross-functional teams.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, financial, contractual issues.
• Monitor portfolio health with forecasts, metrics, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Balance priorities and make sound decisions based on risk and impact.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, and Business Development.
• Support growth activities including proposal, capture, and customer engagement.
• Communicate portfolio status, risks, and actions to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve execution and portfolio performance.
• May mentor and develop a team of Program Managers.
