Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX seeks a proactive Senior Program Manager to lead complex programs and a commercial uncooled product portfolio. You will drive cost, schedule, technical execution, and customer satisfaction across a multi-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strategic thinking, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to mentor program managers while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years of program management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and drives results.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of a portfolio of programs with oversight across multiple teams.
• Manage portfolio performance to align with customer requirements, contract commitments, and financial targets.
• Interface with customers and internal leadership on portfolio execution matters.
• Drive accountability and coordination across cross-functional teams.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, financial, and contractual issues.
• Monitor portfolio health with forecasts, metrics, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Balance priorities and make sound decisions considering risks and business impact.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, and BD for successful execution.
• Support growth activities including proposal, capture, and customer engagement as needed.
• Communicate portfolio status and risks clearly to customers and senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve execution and processes across the portfolio.
• May mentor and develop a team of Program Managers.
