Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Program Planning & Control Analyst to support budgeting, planning, and cost analysis within the Program Control Department. The role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently to ensure items are completed on schedule.

Responsibilities include tracking project costs, developing budgets and baselines, and managing subcontractor invoices and CDRLs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar discipline.
• 0-2 years related experience in program planning/cost controls.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Basic understanding of the Subcontractor process from RFQ to de-obligation of funds.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects.
• Develop budgets that lead to the establishment of a cost/schedule baselines.
• Track project costs, schedule performance, and monitor baselines.
• Review and approve purchase orders and invoices for subcontractors & consultants.
• Responsible for customer financial CDRL development and delivery.
