Job summary

U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, seeks a Program Manager to lead and coordinate regional programs and initiatives.

The role requires directing major studies, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across operations, lands, and wildlife areas. You will oversee operations and maintenance of multiple dams and facilities, supervise the Fallon Field Office, and serve as a key adviser to the Regional Director.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes program goals and assigns program responsibility to key subordinate staff.
  • Provides managerial oversight for development, execution, and coordination of assigned programs, investigations, and studies.
  • Directs major studies and initiatives and develops management plans for operations, lands, and wildlife areas.
  • Oversees operation and maintenance of dams and related facilities including Prosser Creek Dam, Stampede Dam and Marble Bluff Diversion Dam.
  • Supervises field office activities and enforces operating criteria and procedures as approved by the Federal Court.
