Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead planning and execution of development and production programs, ensure milestones, control costs, and manage risks across multiple projects while aligning with strategic goals.

You will interface directly with customers, oversee multiple projects toward strategic goals, and mentor junior staff while maintaining adherence to performance plans and gross margin targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management experience.
• Minimum Secret Security Clearance required.
• Export-controlled material handling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategy for planning and execution of development and production programs.
• Control program costs and manage adherence to technical and schedule performance plans.
• Manage program risks and opportunities.
• Interface directly with customers as required.
• Manage one or more projects and programs as a group to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
• Account for cumulative project and individual performance across time, quality, cost, and/or as-bid Gross Margin.
• Apply technical and professional knowledge to support decision-making.
• Make independent judgments based on practice and significant previous experience.
• Serve as a referral point or senior team member for escalating complex problems.
• Act independently with minimal guidance.
• Act as a project manager or formal mentor for junior staff.
