Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Program Manager to support IS Global PMO initiatives within the Institutional Services division, guiding planning, execution, and reporting for technology and business programs. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to align with strategic goals, manage budgets, risks, and governance, and improve delivery performance across finance, governance and communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years PM experience, or 12 years combined education/work experience including 8 years PM experience.
Proficiency in MS Suite (Advanced Excel, MS Project, Teams).
MS Power Platform (Power Apps Suite).
Financial Institutional experience (financial services, fintech, or related).
Experience working on a tech initiative, specifically a data initiative.
Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology; PMI certifications (PMP/PgMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Support portfolio, program, and project management activities aligned with tech strategy and business objectives.
Coordinate program deliverables, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Develop project plans, forecasts, schedules, and stakeholder requirements.
Manage risk, change controls, and budget/forecast for assigned projects.
Improve team performance and coordinate resource sharing across projects.
